Read to Lead

Read to Lead is a literacy and leadership development initiative that strengthens reading skills while building confidence, communication, and critical thinking. Youths engage in guided reading, group discussion, and peer-led storytelling that connect books to real-life choices and personal growth. By practicing reading aloud, reflecting on powerful themes, and mentoring one another, participants develop a stronger voice and a sense of responsibility to lead by example. Read to Lead turns literacy into empowerment, showing youths that strong readers become strong leaders.
